Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the instrinsic elements of the serial story Kubur Tanpa Tenger and the Thailand film Alone, describe the comparison of themes in the serial story Kubur Tanpa Tenger with the Thailand film Alone, describe the comparison of the characterizations in the serial story Kubur Tanpa Tenger with the Thailand film Alone, and describe the comparison of the setting in the serial story Kubur Tanpa Tenger with the Thailand film Alone. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are the serial story Kubur Tanpa Tenger by Margareth Widhy Pratiwi and the Thailand film Alone 2007. The data collection technique was obtained by the listening method followed by the note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used the diachronic comparison method. The results of the research are stories from the serial story Kubur Tanpa Tenger and the Thailand film Alone, which tells the life story of one twin sister who was terrorized by the spirit of the other twin after he died. The similarity of the contents of the two stories is what makes the intrinsic elements in the form of themes, characterizations and settings have similarities and differences, this is because these two stories come from different countries. Abstract

Abstract Adji’s (Sentolo) manuscript is one of the primbon category manuscripts witch contains ruwatan mantras along with predictions if an earthquake or eclipse occurs in a certain month. The purpose of this study is to provide edits and translations of the AS text according to philological rules and to provide information on what spells exist in the AS text. The data used in this study is Adji’s (Sentolo). The data source is the Adji’s (Sentolo) manuscript with the code in the SK 165 catalog stored in the Sonobudoyo State Museum Library Unit II, Yogyakarta. The research method used is a philological reaserch method with a standard edition single manuscript editing method and a free translation method so that it is easily understood by readers. The result obtained from this study are in the form of valid text edits according to philological rules and text translations in Indonesian. The deepest spells in the AS text are divided into two parts. In the first part there are mantras such as gumbala geni, tunjung kuning, tulak tanggul, caraka balik, dunga srabat, and predictions in case of earthquakes and eclipses. In the second part there are bidding spells such as jaramaya or caraka balik, tulak tanggul, the difference lies in the pronunciation of spell used. Based on AS manuscript research that has been carried out philologically, in this study the results of edits and translations of the text were obtained and contained information about various kinds of ruwatan mantras. This research can be continued and become a reference for other sciences, such as linguistics, especially in stylistics. Keywords : Philology; Adji’s (Sentolo); Text Editing; Text Translation.

Abstract

The short film ngapak Mardiyah from the Tegal area produced by Mr. Hidayah from the Hidayah Official youtube channel, according to the cultural and linguistic aspects. The researcher took this film as the object of research because it fits the title Mardiyah, but there is no female figure named Mardiyah, which might make the audience wonder why Mardiyah is not shown. The existence of these problems, the researchers analyzed using Teun A. Van Dijk's discourse analysis which focused on three dimensions: text structure, social cognition, and social context. This approach uses descriptive qualitative discourse analysis with data collection techniques document study and literature study. This study uses content analysis techniques to determine the content of a message, the results of the first study, the structure of the text found that there are four scenes that were analyzed based on the macro structure, superstructure and micro structure. Second, on social cognition based on the awareness of the short film maker Mardiyah regarding her ideas, there are three elements, namely elements of knowledge, opinions and attitudes, ideology. Third, in the social context, it is found that the problems that arise in the short film ngapak Mardiyah are not only social disparities, but the figure of Mardiyah as a parable to express one's frustration. Abstract

This study aims to reveal lexical and cultural meanings of neloni and describes the culinary terms within the ritual in Malang district. Neloni is a ritual for three months old baby in Java. The data source are the society of Desa Pandanajeng, Tumpang, Malang, East Java and other relevant literary sources. The data in this study is the information of lexical and cultural meanings of neloni along with the culinary terms in words or phrases within the ritual. The researchers utilize interview techniques to obtain the data and record the interview. In analyzing the data, the researchers employ agih method andBagi Unsur Langsung (BUL) technique. The results uncover that neloni has lexical meaning as three months celebration for the baby’s birth and the mommy’s pregnancy. Meanwhile, the cultural meaning reflects three kindness from God. They are character, ability, and feeling/emotions. The cultural terms involved in the ritual are ayam keting, jangan lodheh, jangan petang werno, jenang sengkolo, kuluban, trancam, tumpeng kuning, tumpeng putih and urap. Abstract

During the Field Experience Practice (PPL), many language errors were found in students' essays. This study describes the errors in Javanese language in the descriptive essay of the work of class X students of SMA N 12 Semarang. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach combined with the theory of language error analysis. The research data are in the form of descriptive essays in Javanese variety of manners. The source of this research data is the students of Class X SMA N 12 Semarang which contains language errors. The data were collected using the listening and note-taking technique, while the data analysis techniques used in this study were sorting and dressing techniques. The results showed that there were 4 language errors at the phonological level, namely 78% vowel phoneme errors, 17% consonant phoneme errors, 3% consonant addition errors, and 2% consonant reduction errors. Meanwhile, at the morphological level there are 6 errors, namely errors because prefixes are separated from basic words as much as 17%, errors due to suffixes being separated from basic words as much as 5%, errors in prefixing as much as 11%, ater-ater hanuswara errors 21%, diction errors as much as 24%, and reduplication errors as much as 22%. Abstract

This study is intended to describe the condition of the Serat Wirid Kagem Dalem Nata text, the meaning of the text using the hermeneutic theory to describe the function of the wirids or prayers practiced by the Islamic Mataram dynasty kings and Islamic boarding schools especially Hizb Sulaiman and Isim Petak along with their prayers other prayers, which are contained in the manuscript Serat Wirid Kagem Dalem Nata. The object of this research is the NB manuscript. 506 collections of National Library of Indonesia. The results of this research are the results of the meaning of the text. Editing Serat Wirid Kagem Dalem Nata means preparing a manuscript that is ready for publication or print. Editing in philology is providing manuscripts that are close to the original, namely good and correct manuscripts. Good means easy to read and understand because it has been transcribed or transliterated (from Javanese script to Latin script) and the spelling has been adapted to the target language. Correct means that the validity of the contents of the text can be accounted for, because it has been cleared of typographical errors. Abstract

Kicau Mania is the mention of a group of songbird lovers. The existence of this group will lead to language registers for fluency in interacting within the group. The register is something that is very interesting to study in groups of songbird lovers in Boyolali because special terms often appear in communication between members of the group. The purpose of this study is to describe the form, meaning, and function of the registers for groups of songbird lovers or Kicau Mania in Boyolali district. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the source of the data was obtained from the interaction of members of Kicau Mania and event activities in the form of speech from the Kicau Mania group in bird competitions and in bird markets. Methods of data acquisition through field observations and conducting interviews. The techniques applied are tapping, listening and speaking, recording, and taking notes. After obtaining the data, then analyze the data by identifying the data, classifying the data, processing the data and describing the results of the data analysis. This research produced several vocabulary registers, including resik (the mention of female canaries that are ready to mate), kuningan (the mention of young green cucak), kondangan (the mention of losing the competition). In addition, there are also new meanings and vocabulary such as, ngecuske (breeding birds), anggungan (mention of a type of bird that makes a soft voice and buzzes), banggelan (a reference to the term selling fast at a low price). The conclusion of this study is that several registers were found divided according to classification. forms of words and forms of noun phrases, adjectives, and verbs. Then, some meanings of each register vocabulary are obtained which are different from the registers of other language groups. Several special functions were obtained for registering Kicau Mania in Boyolali is heuristic function, informational function, imaginary function, instrumental function, personal function, and interaction function. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of code switching that occur in the Speech Sepuh dialogue on Semarang TV January November 2019 edition and describe the form of code mixing in the form of words, phrases, baster, word repetition, clauses obtained in the Sepuh Speech dialogue on Semarang TV January edition. November 2019. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research is video documents from youtube, the Tutur Sepuh event on Semarang TV in January November 2019. The data collection technique was obtained by the listening method followed by the note-taking technique. The data analysis technique uses the comparative method or also called the equivalent method. The results of the study were in the form of code switching from Javanese to Indonesian, forms of code mixing in Javanese with Indonesian, Javanese with Arabic, and several factors were found behind the occurrence of code switching and code mixing, namely the limitations of the use of codes, the use of more popular terms. , variety and level of speech. Abstract

On the nameplates of streets and location directions in Yogyakarta that apply Javanese script, Latin writing derived from foreign languages is transliterated using swara script and rekan script. This research will reveal the application of swara script and rekan script in the rules of writing Javanese script. This research is a qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques use documentation and note-taking techniques. The analysis technique applied is to input a picture from each street sign according to the type of swara and rekan script used then writes an explanation of the relationship between the script and the Latin script below it. The findings of this study are that the swara script is used to write down vowel scripts that become syllables, especially those derived from foreign languages, to emphasize their pronunciation. The swara script cannot be used as a pair script so the carakan script contained in front of it must be turned off with pangkon. The rekan script is used to inscribe consonant scripts on foreign words that are still preserved originally. There are 2 ways to turn off consonant sounds, namely by using the pangkon symbol and using pairs from the carakan script in the next word. Abstract

The discussion on Women's Education is never finished. Women as domestic workers or tied up in public spaces are not asked to be debated; they are used as a discourse for discussion everywhere. This study aims to brainstorm in the discussion of how education is applied to women. The research method used is the historical method. The results of the research, which focused on (1) Women's Issues in the Wasita Rini Period, (2) Wasita Rini as the Fruit of Thoughts on Education for Women, (3) Wasita Rini and Education for Women Pre and PostIndependence, showed that Ki Hajar Dewantara as It turns out that the founders of Indonesian education have initiated education for women through their works, one of which is Wasita Rini's fiber. Ki Hajar Dewantara responded wisely to the strong waves that world female leaders exhaled at that time; he involved women's rights in all fields, one of which was related to gender injustice, but by still precipitating eastern norms. Therefore, women leaders in Indonesia can use this research as a reflection; women today are responsible for continuing the struggle. Keywords: Wasita Rini, Ki Hajar Dewantara, Pendidikan Perempuan
